Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from our shop. Last updated: October 2026.
Micheal Armenian Souvenir Shop works to make this website accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What we have done
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks, so screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver) can navigate them.
- Images have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons use colours with sufficient contrast, and the site can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are announced in words, not by colour alone.
- The layout adapts to phones and tablets, and animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps and may not be fully accessible. Our address and directions are also written in text on the same page.
- Payment takes place on our payment provider’s page (PayPal), which is outside our control.
- Some product descriptions are written by hand and may be added to over time.
We test the site regularly and keep improving it.
